Remember to buy milk, frozen pizza... and Manchester?!

Adelaide's a nice town. A bunch of Aussies from elsewhere have told us it's quaint and/or more rural but it seems like a good sized city to us. We went to nearby Glenelg beach today and it's known for having a bit of a Brighton (UK) vibe. We saw a stingray floating around below the pier in the photo below. The beach looks nice and is busy but not overly crowded like a summertime beach on the East Coast would be.  Seems like a pleasant beach holiday spot.

On the way back to our rental in Adelaide, we popped into a grocery and we were confronted with a word that doesn't translate quite the same as back in the States. Often groceries here and in New Zealand have aisle signs that tell you where you can buy Manchester. What the heck?!  In Wellington I snooped around the aisle selling such but couldn't tell what it might be. But after getting on the internet, I learned it's a term for linen. Not as exciting as possibly picking up a UK city with a legendary music scene on aisle 11 of the supermarket.

And I've put my newest, homemade travel poster at the bottom of this journal entry. This one's about lovely Melbourne.
