The other day we went to a restaurant on a beach called Megalos Mourtias and a monk seal was snoozing at the water's edge. The sea around the island is known for having monk seals, but this was the first time we've seen one in our three visits here. The restaurant owner said this young seal visited pretty much every day this summer.
